I'm going with the Four new normal tyres on 205 50 16 and there dear enough,. Run-flats are a good idea but are just to harsh.
I was going to buy two RF replacements for the front but putting four spanking new tyres on now for this winter and next summer. Rainpsort 2's unless i change my mind again.

Good choice. I will need two new tyres for winter and am wondering if I should stick with the R2s which I've been very pleased with or if I should invest in some proper winter ones. Not sure what the weather pundits are saying about the forthcoming winter but suppose it wouldn't matter since they're generally wrong anyway!

You Through the front tyres already Sheilz? But then again I know you do mega miles....I have the best option in Winter " if it goes white out" That Mini aint moving from the drive......Mind last Winter it did not move for a week or two.

.
Not quite but always feel more confident when the tread is max in winter time. Still got about 4mm on front ones and rears barely worn.
