We often have rigs in for overhauling but never have I seen one fully jacked up, it can be seen for miles around town. Wish I could get my own pics but check some of these out.

Wow, am trying to think of a good reason for it to be jacked up so high, some kind of maintenance perhaps

According to the paper its here for 60 days for upgrades as it has just won a new contract.
If its quiet at night you can hear the tannoy system - quite eerie lol

I believe the legs are to be shortened. So easier access to the top of the legs in the jacked-up mode than the other way round!
