My thing is goosed and is held on by tie wraps, the part with the red clip ;) Need to order a new one so would like to know what the parts called so I can tell mr partsman

Is it actually the ignition unit or the plug into it?

Plug into it mate. Pretty sure it's the engine loom. Just the clip thats broken and it keeps falling off, and everytime it falls off the car cuts out

All sorted now though, guy from down south has a spare and im getting it FOC. Legend

The plug housing itself is a 3-pin but gives me an in-conjuntion part of wires,

the wires are:

0.5-1.0mm
1.2-2.0mm

just advice to be careful the wire size, as i guess the 2 sizes depend on car/engine etc
