good stuff , it was the silver MK4 that i sold , still got the black 5 door.

you will have to swing in past the hoose , let me see your motor, looks affa affa nice.

Does anyone here know how to adjust the handbrake, one side is good the other is p**h, but i cant find anything when i search.

Is it wheel aff pads out and rotate the piston to take up any slack???

Cheers Ross.

You could find you have a knackered caliper.. Common fault on rear calipers :frown:

Yeah i hear they are common for going,

would it be the side thats good or the side thats not so good that would be knackered ,, iif that makes any sense at all.

When the handbrake is on the passenger side is good, driver side is poor

and yeah hope to meet some of you at some point.

Sounds to me like drivers side if it's not working when the hand brake is on.... Best get it checked out by an Indy ;)

Absolutely It's just I never adjusted mine on the mini, even although I have changed the pads on a few occasions now.

No, the in-laws live in Skene, we live in town. We were just out to get a torque wrench so I could stick in the new arm rest, as a simple star screwdriver didn't have the leverage lol. So it was out to raid the engineers garage lol!
