Klkl take these dave.f intakes are pretty hard to come by? Just thought it would be better to have on considering I'm gna put a 15%pulley on without changing intercooler, thought it would help with inlet temp.

Cheers, Fraser.

Or try minitorque.com. Dave f makes batches of around 10 at a time, you have to pre order them.

I have done a fair bit of the carbon wrapping. Never tried a scoop though that would be difficult. I had mixed results. For external stuff on the car I found that where I had to stretch and manipulate it alot I found it would lift in places. Tried lacquering it too again never liked end results. I also done some internal stuff it seemed to work alot better.

Cheers, was planning on doing scoop, wing mirrors n boot handle, do you have to lacquer it if it's external? You get them lacquered professionally or did you do that yourself?

Cheers, Fraser.

Nah dont get the vinyl its just no where near as good as real CF.

Ayrshire09

Definately agree hogman but just can't afford real carbon fibre unfortunately. Cheers stoney, think I'm looking at around £40 for filter, could you notice quite a difference in itg filter from normal one when you fitted?

Cheers, Fraser.

PM Dave.f on MiniTorque if you want one as he is doing another batch mid-late Sept on a first come basis (posted by himself earlier tonight).

If my car had been standard, as I thought, I had one on order before I even picked up the car

Cheers steve but mines is a standard MCS airbox so wool it fit?? Quite alot of people are saying it would be wisest to get an intercooler first so gna hunt for one hopefully a nice second hand one. Does anyone run a 15% without updating intercooler or is that just asking for trouble?

Cheers, Fraser

If you do, which isn't wise for any length of time, lower your revs and don't give it beans the whole time as it needs time to cool. You can, just isn't great
