I dont quite understand why they have released the MC40 in the US and not in Britain the Mini's historical home.
As i am quite knew to the Mini 2 scene, tell me does anyone know if there has been any UK only special editions released.

I believe the Japanese had a limited edition of 200 to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of MINI's release in Japan, apart from that not seen or heard anything.Does seem a strange idea like you say to release that car only in the states - I remember reading about this one in one of the mini magazines and getting really excited thinking I might get one till I discovered they were only for export.

GAJ, cheers for that, will have to go and find some prices for R90's now, unless Willie pops along and puts me out of my misery :)

The 17s are proper split rim, the 16's are "lookalike" as far as I can tell, hence the price difference.

I have those rims too, they look murder to keep clean but a wee bit of wax on them and no hassle what so ever! And they look COOL!!!

The wheels on the MCS 40 are anthracite I think. Dark grey! They would look excellent on a DS MCS...

These wheels are 16" but look smart http://www.johncooper.co.uk/JohnCooperSite/category/Motorsport%5FWheels+and+Tyres/

Only £620?
