Hello from a Newbie

Hi, I've had my 07 plate R56 Mini Cooper for a month now and I absolutely love it! Its Sparkling Silver, Black roof and mirror caps, 17" Crown Spokes, chrome line exterior & interior, Piano black trim, Chilli pack and Ipod interface.

I have a few mods planned but am looking for some ideas so any suggestions are welcome.

Hi and thanks for the welcome. I'm thinking of mainly appearance mods at the moment as I have a years warranty from Mini and dont want to jepordise that so preformance mods will be next year. Would like to buy a set of black wheels or have mine powder coated in gloss black. Thinking about black belt line and changing the grilles and side scuttles. Oh and ditching the orange side repeaters!

Depending where you live i would recommend Carnoustie forgetting the wheels powder coated, did a great job on mine.
All your other mods are easily done with most parts available from our sponsors :thumbs up:

welcome smart looking coop you have there. Mod wise the sky is the limit but if your doing anything keep the original parts to put back on. Aero grill is a nice start and maybe even the side scuttles too. I actually think your wheels are nice the way they are, I have seen these wheels in black and I did not like them. (oh and I am a fan of black wheels) I'll do a wee photoshop for you if you want show you what it would be like.

Hi, thanks for that, really helpfull and has made the decision for me. I'm with you, definately prefer them silver. The orange side repeaters are going to be changed for sure, they look much better clear. :smilewinkgrin:

Glad to help, agreed they do look good in silver. How much better though without those orange lenses. If there is anything else your wanting photo-shopped let me know.:thumbs up:

Hi not sure about the darkened rear glass, mine certainly doesn't have it but does have the Cooper spoiler, just not very clear from the angle of the photos :smilewinkgrin:
