That was a gruelling match. You can only imagine how Andy was feeling under that sun for the eleventh match in a row. Nae wonder he was packing the ice in for the last set.

That last rally in the final tie break could have so easily gone the other way if Andy had stopped and challenged Fish's mid rally baseline shot which was easily 4" long. Such a shame cos he worked very hard for that match. But it's seldom folk win back-to-back masters in that heat and that close together.

Bring on US Open. Yeah!!!

It did seem unfair. Fed plays 1 set, then a non contested match in the evening. And Andy still gets put out there in the searing midday heat. WTF???

Petchy seemed to think it was the tv networks who, because of their sponsorship money, command the top players in the evening slots. A bit short sighted really, when you consider Andy winning Toronto and that he was playing an..... American.
