View Full Version : Bonnie's Country Extravaganza 19th Sept - Delayed

 I've sorted out a fab wee route with a small theme to it 8) nothing fancy mind, but, checking the meets section i can't see a clear date from now until November

So, bearing in mind there are a few runs organised, would anyone be interested in yet another run :clown: say the week before Wul's go - kart event (26th Sept) on the 19th September, failing that we're into November with uncertain icy conditions etc.

It's good to see the meets section is well catered for and shows that there are plenty of peeps offering to do their bit.

So, votes please on September 19th or sometime in November

It wouldn't be the same without you on the run Wul 8);)
The run will most certainly be further north than Edinburgh, good point though, the run will take in a good bit of Angus

Well, pretty much start at the broxden roundabout services in perth, then head back north through the county of ANGUS, which includes the likes of forfar, arbroath, montrose, kirriemuir, brechin, coupar angus.
My area, nice short travelling distance for us chaps and chapesses for a change.
Will try and finish near dundee for easy commute home for you southern folk

I've thought of a decent run name as i've got enough people interested to make a go of it 8)

Ok guys and gals, i need some feedback 8)
I will be starting a new job as of approx 1st September and sadly i have absolutely no idea what work schedule i will be given.
Potentially i can be offshore immediately, or on or near my intended run date.

Logic tells me to cancel the run altogether :( i would hate to proceed any further with it and then cancel the week before and disappoint a lot of people.
So, can i get some kind of reaction
I can either cancel, delay confirmation or hand the date over to someone else to organise

Julz
28th July 2004, 08:57 PM
I would say delay it, be on the safe side, plus we have the Leuchars thing on the 11th then Wul's (who he??) run on the 26th so it's not as if we'll be quiet!! Can't have you missing your own run!!
New job?? Why, did your old boss not like you??;)

Remember, i punched him in the face so i could attend the Mackie's Run ;)
Current contract not being renewed :( no work here until March 05  so, have had to look elsewhere, same type of job, different boiler suit ;)
Just uncertain as to when i'll be offshore first, but, i think the delay option is best.

I'll get a few responses first and then decide :)

Duncan Stewart
28th July 2004, 09:07 PM
I say delay so I can come :p . But I can't make 19th sept so I'm bias! :clown: :I  ;)
All the best in the new job Alan
