I'm sure it is stamped on the TD's wheels. Mines were 45+ but then that is what I asked for. could be either or both will fit the mini. Jut means they may get a bit of srubbing on the 38+

Yeah Greig that is the only way to check. I think most are ET37 as standard, most wheel places would sell these as it fits more cars, though if bought new you could ask for ET45.

They come in varying offsets. They are stamped, but you usually can't read it due to paint and lacquer!

Standard offset for 17x7 is ET48, I've gone down to 15x7 on my MCS Works, but increased the offset to ET35 giving an extra track of 13mm per side.

If you're still running 17s I doubt the offset would be greater than ET40 otherwise I think the tyres would foul the arches.

Right here goes my TD1.2 are 8.0x18 I specced them with et45 I have fitted et37 on loads of MINIs through my work and they just sit 8mm further out than the et45 but will not foul anything on the R56 some people dont like the look at the rear. The latest TD wheels on the very outer lip on the rear of the wheel the offset/PCD will be stamped on them however on older TD wheels it usually is stamped on the rear of the spoke either ET or simply E number. Hope this helps

I have OZ Ultraleggera on ET37 and there's no fouling....

I've run 195/55 R16 with ET35 and no fouling with them and they have the largest diameter of all the standard sizes again without fouling.

Greig, I guess the conclusion is that the only way you'll know is by looking at the wheel.
