real posibility that i might be selling/trading my paul smith LE classic mini for a new mini...

i dont have the cash to go brand spanking so a budget of aroud 5kish is my limit... ideally id like the phase 2 style 2004 (not clued up on model jargen yet) as far as looking on all the usual car sales sites autotrader, pistonheads ect it seems i might be able to get either a cooper or a one or a phase 1 cooper s...

i would be using it daily but also want it to play with... and mod my way.

what would you guys suggest?

cooper, cooper s, or a one?

cheers scotty

I drive a 2002 cooper and love it, But i've never owned any other mini so i couldn't tell you what the others are like :idunno:

As far as fun goes its awsome(doesn't have to be fast to be fun) an the fuel bill isn't to bad either.

Try an get a test drive of a few :yes nod: :thumbs up:

Depends on your age and willingness to pay high insurance premiums.
If you go the Cooper route then don't expect to be able to mod the performance much, if you want to do that then go for a well specced ONE and install the same software chip that Burple used, Cooper+ performance in a cheaper car.

Having said all that it really depends on what you want, a well driven cooper or ONE can give a more trhilling ride having to keep the engine on song than a Cooper S.

Suffice to say, it's really your preference, good luck in your search :thumbs up:
