For guys and gals with Convertible MINIs (especially R57 Coopers) what MPG are you getting?
Last time I looked ours was just 38.6 MPG:frown: was expecting a wee bit more...although it only has around 400 miles on it and the roof has been down loads...

I think with the roof down or up TBH your not going to be great.

My Cooper sits on 44 MPG on the display when I'm just about town. But there at the weekend it was on 54.6 MPG on a run. Did the actual brim test when I went down south and the Display had me on 52 MPG and the math said 50 MPG. I always think its over by a good few MPG the old display.

It wasn't a quick run though.

My R57 S is currently getting 42mpg average with the roof pretty much always down ;) (does it make much difference to mpg having the roof down??)

Would have thought so, just driving with your window down can increase fuel consumption by 5-10%
I'll tell u what though 42mpg is excellent that's what o get if I am being a good boy.

Not bad mpg Emma...I am thinking our R57 may just need a few more miles on the clock...need to keep a "beady eye" out;)
...and take the lead boots off of Sharon:laugh: as she use the car daily, I am a mere weekend / evening driver:frown:

I only use my car at nights and weekends so never really try to petrol save so im pretty impressed with it, especially since the best I ever got out of my cooper was about 38mg :frown:

I haven't a clue what MPG I get from mine, I don't want to think about it. Since changing to the Cooper S, I average £!00 a week on fuel :| I have the roof down at lot ;)
