Hello I'm from Aberdeen too. If you see a cheerful red clubman with blue stripes that'll be Dougall. He likes people saying hello to him so mind and wave/flash/toot if you see him. He's often to be seen scooting around Aberdeen. What colour is your mini? Pics?

Really not sure about mods yet. Don't even know where to start to be honest. But I change my ideas from day to day so who knows lo. Tell me, does anyone know how much it is to get the handsfree working in the car. I have the phone button on the dash but its not set up.

Love your car. Will you have to wait long for your reg? What will it be? You might've noticed quite a few minis in Abz. Seems to be the mini capital of Scotland!
I won't be going to Alford. Dougall will be scooting about the south of Ireland on that date

Well we will have to arrange a run for when he is back. Should be here next week, it's T21 CEB. There were never a load of Minis til I decided to get one, now they are everywhere.
Check out your Diary for Aug 7th or 8th. Anyone up for a Deeside run. Start at the beach, up Union St then out South Deeside road to Banchory then along to Ballater for food somewhere?

I think that sounds pretty good. I'm also on holiday first two weeks in August and nothing planned so I think Dougall would be quite happy stretching his legs out the road a bit though because of family being at home would be best waiting a bit before I commit. So that's me a maybe.

Absolutely - and on the way through Aberdeen can have a fun game of chicken with the potlholes. This is becoming one of my pet hates especially because of folk parking cars oppositie potholes so that passing traffic has no option but go bumpity bump and crunch over them :ragin:

Well I am starting to wonder if driving on the moon would be better for our little cars. Love how our wonderful City council can spend millions on a new headquarters but they can't fix the roads leading to it. But your right N16SHP, Deeside has some fab roadsd. Best one has to be over the hill to Tomintoul. It's amazing. Since I am only new to this any help in getting a run sorted would be great. Never been on one let alone tried to sort one out. But if my first one is going to be a great day of pot hole dodging and scenery whizzing by with a load of other Mini folk then I am sure I will love it.

Hey Hogman. Seems there is more Mini folk in Aberdeen(shire) than I thought. There is a post on the Meets and social page about a possible run in August. Plenty of time to sort it out and get a few folk to join in.
