Fitting spotlights

When fitting the genuine Mini spotlights to an R56 do you need to have them switch on by the dealer or is it just a case of plug and play?

Are they easy enough to fit and do you really need a new front grille?

MINI wont supply the brackets on their own they insist on selling a new grille with them. The grille just has holes hacksawed in it

Yeah you need everything in the kit. I fitted mine in January, took ages, but was worth it, as the dealer was wanting £300 for doing it! If you are relatively handy with car electricals, should be a walk in the park for you. As I said, just a little time consuming!
