Not sure if it really belongs in here (mods feel free to relocate) but anyway, this Sunday see's Speedfest at Grampian Transport Museum. It has lots of post 1955 race cars and supercars and is possibly one of the best 'sounding' events of the year.
For anyone interested, more information is here Clickity click (http://www.gtm.org.uk/)
I think a'l be having a wee blast up, even if only to improve on some of my photography! Hope to see some of you there!

I'll be there... as I live above the Post Office in Alford, it's about 1 min walk for me! Really looking forward to it, the line-up I saw on Pistonheads looks amazing

Well I was supposed to be going on a 35k cycle which I was well looking forward to, but I got injured at the weekend playing American Football and settled for Alford rather than Time Attack as I've been up and down to Edinburgh twice already last week lol! Right leg couldn't take another trip!

Anyone else go? Thought it was a really good day, some amazing cars there. The guy headbutting the haybale with his brand new California was a funny moment...

Haha my uncle was telling me about this, he was racing the guy in his r8 when he crashed. Ferrari owner was telling him the r8 stood no chance
Anyone get any pictures? I was down at Knockhill, otherwise would of been there!

Here are some pics of Russ Swift in action. I have about 10-12 more pics of the supercars, but the Uni server won't let me upload them onto Flickr, so will do it later! Also thanks to my better half for taking some pics of Russ in action, as I was too big to stand at the front. Her being small does have it's advantages ;) Enjoy:

Yeah, the guy was in a California, didn't get enough heat into his brakes, and plowed straight into a hay bail...then proceeded to get his ass handed to him buy the R8, was brilliant. He was a moron anyway, as I was taking some pics of his car and he just stood in all the pics and made no attempt to help me out!

For £7 or whatever it is, and to be 20 feet from some of the worlds most sought after cars as they scream past is just simply a bargain IMO!
Nice pics Neil ;)
Thanks Craig! Never sure if my style is liked by all. Not a fan of the simple squared off picture lol!

Have to say, the council chose their day well to resurface the main street; idiots. The diversion was across loads of speedbumps, I have no idea how half the cars made it with their front bumpers intact

A lot of the cars came in the entrance beside the railway station therefore avoiding it. I seen they were surfacing the road, so didn't venture up for fear of covering the car in tar!

The pic's are great, could be a mini Meet next year as it does look great fun.
What the difference between being able to afford a California and not, you jump out when you hit a bail of hay and pray the damage is not bad…….
