Here's the pics as promised.
It's a Mini First with the design pack and I've fitted Flame alloys, JCW side skirts, JCW side vents and leather seats.
Hope you like it.

JCW side skirts makes such a difference I always feel, I’d not get a Mini now without them.
Very nice.

Nice looking car! Those are the wheel I would love on my car, they look brilliant.
Had a first as a courtesy car the other week, thought it was great! Not as much poke as the cooper granted, but still plenty to get most from chassis, always seemed to be at the right revs in a corner to nail it.
Welcome to the site as well :)

Yeah the JCW side skirts made a big difference to the look of the car as do the wheels.
The car only has 75BHP but it feels more than that.

Car is looking , Norrie.
Do you find the FIRST has enough poke?
Did you get your dealer to provide and fit the painted JCW skirts?
Cheers

It feels fine although I'm still taking it easy as it's brand new.
It will sit on the motorway at 90 no problem and acceleration feels brisk enough.
I got the side skirts of my mate at work as he bought a full JCW kit and he already had side skirts fitted and I believe it came painted from BMW but not sure.
As for fitting I done them myself and it is fairly easy thanks to the help of Ian's guide.:thumbs up:
Ideally I am going to get it re-mappped in the future as I'm sure it's got the same engine as the Cooper.

I thought the mini first had a 1.4L petrol, as opposed to the standard 1.6 in the one/cooper/s

It's got the brand new 1.6 engine in it that came out in March.
The specs look the same for the First, One and Cooper but I'm not sure if it's just the maps that are different.

Cracking looking car Norrie. As everyone has said, the skirts make it looks awsome, and you'd have to look twice to see that it was a First!!
