Does anyone know how to get polish off of trims?

I was looking for that beat me too it.

There's alot of info but I think a really good wash then the nut oil for the marks. As far as the detailing ie coating the trim to get it looking like new there is loads of info on what other's use on the link Del gave you.

I take it with the nut oil, its a little dab on with it, agitate, then just wash off?

Stewart is the one with the fetish for Tesco ground nut oil :lol:, he should be on shortly to clarify what you do with it :smilewinkgrin:.

Yes, he seems to be the champion of it, and his trim does look pretty tidy! Look forward to hearing what he has to say!

What about Mr King's opinion on trim?

Yeah the Tesco groundnut oil :thumbs up:with the tooth brush did it for me, nothing would shift it till I tried the oil. Agitated it and you could see the polish mix with the oil…Then a good wash again with my power washer.

I then waited till next wash and then treated the trim with my AG stuff .

It was on my wheel arch and it did not matter if the car was clean all I had to do was look at that bit of trim. Does your box right in.

On my way to tesco to buy this special oil and a cheap toothbrush ;)

Well see I sat on my laptop and got it spot on, then when I looked on my iPhone there was heeps too many, but urs is doing the same...strange?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....don't say that, i checked on my iphone and laptop and it's also fine offshore on my desktop. Took ages to get that right :lol:
