I've been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks.
A few weeks back we adopted a lamb for a while as it's mum had abandoned it. It was duly called Larry, thanks Del (actually turned out to be a boy).
Anyway a wee video of larry, who btw is now re-homed. Took another one 2 weeks ago but got it re-homed in a day.
In case anyone wonders the lambs are occasionally abandoned at birth, especially if it's been a hard winter and the sheep are week.

Had this little chap in the garden, baking hot in the garden last week, so he got a bath and taken back to the local stream.

Finally the main point of this thread, we have decided to keep chickens too... so all being well 3 weeks or from now we'll get our coop and chicks.

Now normally I would admit that a shot of the mini was intentional but they were not. So it must mean that I now subconsciously take a pic with it in it... Worrying.
And yes free... Free range eggs are even tastier.

Cracking news ;-)
Our neighbour over the back keeps chickens, it's nice to hear them make their noises as they cluck about. They only have 2 though so not quite so many eggs!

There great like that but they turn into sheep lol. It was hard giving the wee thing away.
Funny story is kim and amy (daughter) went to the farm that has taken it and when the wee thing heard their voices it came bounding over to them. 1,2,3 awe.

Yes we have for a while anyway. The lamb was hard work feeding every 3-4 hours.
