Sadly we lost our James the Bearded Collie gone wrong to a massive stroke was sudden and a great shock but at 14 years he had a great life. Anyway things were just out of sync for us all and Molly the bearded collie was missing her big bro, so tonight we brought home a pup he is a Pollie Dog (Pointer/Border collie) hence the word Polly Dog. Think they have names for all cross dogs these days.

However we are struggling to think of a good name for him and this is where I would like your suggestions, I am not really into typical dog names would like a cool name. Here is a few pictures to help.

I’ve always wanted either a Siberian Husky Dogs or a long haired German Shepherd called “Darroch”
as it was my great granddads dog name.

This wee sole on the Highland Tour?

I like Milo as well or Abbie.

Very sorry to hear of your loss.

How about Bones or Bonzo for the new pup? He looks like a right wee character.

Thanks for all you suggestions. In the end we have chosen Thomas as the name no doubt it will be shortened to Tom. Also thanks for your kind words about James I'm heartbroken as is Molly it's tough watching her at the moment she is lost without him. James was the boss and they ran together for the past 8 years she idolised him.

Really sorry to hear about James, Fi. The two hardest events in our lives were the loss of Merlin then two years later Minstral. I know exactly how you'll be feeling, with no kids they ARE you're kids. When we lost Merlin, Minstral took it very badly and missed him terribly for months. very difficult time.

However, hopefully with Thomas will perk Molly up in no time.
