im in process of buying a 55 plate Jcw what i need to know would this be an r53 model or otherwise thanks in advance carol :smilewinkgrin:

Hi Carol. Yes the JCW would be an 'R53'. The COOPER was the 'R50', whereas the later (post 2006 - newer shape) cars are 'R56'. Hope that helps!
