Well the generous winning bidder was NMS member 'Shaunbhoy67'
Shaun and I decided that it was best to leave the car until March due to the horrific weather we had this winter.

The car was left with me for a weekend and recieved the following

Engine bay and door checks sprayed with G101 and adgitated with horse hair brushes then jet washed down
Under arches with megs super degreaser in the same mannor as the engine and checks
Wheels with autosmart smart wheels non acidic then de-tarred with tardis
Foamed with autosmart brushwash
2 bucket wash with 3M car soap and wool mitt
de-tarred with tardis
clayed with megs fine clay
Interior thorough vacuum with the Henry
seats, carpet mats and boot shampooed and extracted with the George
All interior plastics cleaned with G101
All interior plastics dressed with poorboys natural look dressing
leather conditioned with raw hide conditioner
glass polished inside with autoglym glass polish
car single stage machine polish enhancement with Menzerna 302S mixed with dodo lime prime on a 3M black pad at about 1600rpm. (This doesnt offer anywhere like full correction but it certainly helps take out the light scratches and swirls and restores a good shine)
Cleansed with Zymol HD Cleanse by hand all over car paintwork inc door checks and shuts
Car body and all exterior glass except front screem waxed with collinite 915
Front screen polished with jeffs prime strong
wheels sealed with poorboys wheel sealant
tyres dressed with gloss it tyre dressing
exterior plastics and under arches dressed with megs all season dressing
engine bay dressed with autoglym silicone spray
exhausts polished with megs metal polish

The Clay after just one quarter of the bonnet

The swirls before
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i260/ianking82/checkmate/051.jpg

The door has been machine polished as has the first bit of the rear 1/4, hard to pick up though as was using the iphone
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i260/ianking82/checkmate/052.jpg

The left of the bonnet has been done, from the start of the scoop heading right it is still do be done. You han see that the swirls catch the light and make the blue paint appear kind of greyish

My word, that's a good job :-) Looks awesome, probably better than the day it was delivered! Well done Ian, and well done to 'Shaunbhoy67' for winning the auction and dipping his hand in his pocket for a good cause!

I'll never understand how you get alloys that clean though.
