Mate had a Polo Fox and you could not believe the thrashing the wee car took and even went through a roundabout. Not seen one in years. I'm getting to the stage I like seeing older cars.

Saw a Bugatti Veyron in Epping on Sunday when I was heading into the hospital my Aunt was in... I never thought I'd see one of those in the flesh driving along... unbelievable. I was sitting at a junction waiting to turn right as it drove in front of me... My dad, sister and I all stopped talking and were just in awe of it, then I realised I was holding up the traffic and better get back trying to turn right! Even the number plate would of cost a fortune... 2 numbers and a single letter... OUCH.

Yesterday William and I were talking to Colin Noble (Nobles Subaru, Penicuik). He was driving a minted 22B edition at a car show we were at in Penicuik. Eagle eyed harper noted the plaque number on the dash. It was 000400. All the car that were sold started 001400 up to 400400.
Asked Colin about the car. It was a car used as a press launch etc then it was giften to Colin McRae. It has 10,000km on it. When McRae was alive the Nobles really wanted to buy it but McRae wasnt for selling. Nobles had a minted Escort rally car the McRae wanted so eventually they done a deal to swap, only on the condition that McRae got to buy the Subaru back if they ever sold it. Now the McRae family get the option to buy it back for their personal collection should the Nobles ever sell it.
The car is still registered to Colin McRae as they never changed the V5. It comes out on the trade plates and does about 200kms every year.

My highlight of the weekned was the Escort Cosworth parked in the car park at my local Mothercare! That would scare the kids...

I'd not seen one in a very long time, you forget just how compact they were, and how aggressive looking they were too! In the fantasy garage, I'd have one tucked up in the corner next to a Integrale.

So i went over for a wee look(as you would) and sittin to one side was a blue audi RS6 avant and to the other side was a red 10 plate ferrari california. Then looked into the corner and there was an old school silver bmw Z3M (my kind of garage)

The problem comes from not having enough time on the PC so when I get on and theres loads of stuff to go through I have to speed read and well the results can be:blush:

At home I sneak on when the missus is not looking on my iphone so not only can i not see the screen properly I again can be rushed.
