Porsche factory on TV

So did anyone else see the documentary on the Porsche factory in Stuttgart on National Geographic channel about mega structures at 9pm last night (17th), it was a whole hour of pure awesomeness!!! :clap:getting to see all the different processes etc of the factory and I am so glad I saw it.

My goal in life is to one day own my very own modernish :rolleyes: Porsche 911 (just one of my more expensive goals :lol:) I've dreamed of getting one since I first laid eyes on one as a kid many many moons ago.

Next week its about the factory where they build the Audi R8 apparently...

Its the mega factories series and is also shown in HD.

Last week was the Rolls Royce factory which was a good watch as well.

I’ll have to get yon sky plus over my normal sky. Seen the one were they build the Apache Longbow. My mate had a 944 in guards red and I always loved it with its pop up lights

Watched this last night and was absolutly amazing to see how its all done, but at certain stations in the factory must be very very borning knowing your doing the same thing day in and day out :frown:

The R8 is one of my favorite new cars, so definitely going to be setting the box to record that. I am a sucker for Docs, tape all sorts of random things like "how stuff's made" and "How it works" and watch a heap of stuff on Military channel too!

Geometry station ! love it. Great to see such a great series of car built from the ground up. It was 911 porn.

Best job has to go to the guy that tests the complete built car on that rolling road to 120 mph I’m sure it was.
Right I'm away to apply for that complicated essential building station, the one were the guy puts on the front badge.

That was on it as I remember, you go in to pick up your new car and they press a button and a lift system brings the car down from that multistory I would say car park but its not more like car bank.
