She is a wee cracker! I've got a male black Lab called Ben - he's 2 years and 4 months old and still bounds about like a big puppy, trouble is he's 38kg now :eek:.

yeah my choc boy was 42kilo 7 weeks ago had to go on special vet diet hes now lost around 7 kilos and looks fab for it been hard work with all extra walks and stuff but well worth it to c him lookin the way he does

Oh my, I thought Ben was big :lol:. He's been on a diet too but I haven't weighed him for about a month so I'm hoping he's lost a couple of kilos.

He looks like a big dog - very handsome! Sometimes I think the vet just wants to have all dogs at the "ideal" weight but I think some dogs (of the same breed) can be bigger than others.

the reason we have to get him down to 35kilos is so that he can have the snip lol the vet said he was to heavy for them to operate and was concerned that he wouldnt make it through the anesthetic, and as we do not want any puppy hence the hurry to get the weight of b4 bailey takes her first season
