Its very unusual to be able to see right over to Ben Nevis 56 Miles away usually on the top you cant see 56 inches. :yes nod:

Great pics :thumbs up:. Snow looks amazing - wish I could get to Cairngorms for a slide but don't think I'll have time .

I was skiing at Glencoe on Monday and had one of the best days ever :yes nod:. Conditions were out of this world!

Did they not have something like the most snow of any ski resort in the last few weeks?

It looks awesome, wish I could get up there. I've only been skiing once but nothing beats the feeling of being up the mountain with a couple of planks of wood strapped to your feet!

I take it you hire all the stuff? everyone i seen going past me up the road to the Ski centre did not have any ski's etc on racks?

Although you just know the Clubmans would look great with a set of skis on a rack on the roof.......

My skis fitted inside my Clubman with the back seats flat and the passenger seat slid forward - and I even had a couple of inches to spare

You dont need to appologise about the quality of your pics, you wouldn't know they were taken on a camera phone.

I think the Mrs and I are going to go abroad at the end of the year when we have some time off to make sure we are "almost" guarenteed some snow to learn to either ski or board. Any recommendations. A lot of people have said Bulgaria is good value, im not so sure about the place?

Hi There

Never been to Bulgaria, but I've heard mixed reports. Mainly long queue's for the lifts. :argh: Also I dont think the runs are all that long either.

If you want guaranteed snow then you need to go high, look for resorts with access to a glacier's.
To begin with get yourself along to Xscape at Braehead for a wee try before you book.:yes nod: Just noticed your from Aberdeen, take a wee trip up to The Lecht.

Were of to Canada next week for a mixture of Shopping/Sightseeing/Skiing. :thumbs up::thumbs up:
