View Full Version : The things you gotta do to get a Mini!

So, finally confirmed that the finance is in place this morning, smart all ready to be traded in, and time set for collection is 5.30pm tomorrow evening.

However, for work, I've got to go to County Durham, Newcastle and Alnwick. So, to get back to Edinburgh on time, I have to be in County durham for about 9 in the morning :argh:

it will be worth it Stevie.... we do stupid things for MINI's all the time, like getting up at the back of 5 to drive to Oxford once a year to see the cars getting built! :lol:

ok, well imagine getting up at midnight for that shift then...

I'm home now thankfully, got 3 hours to kill until I pick up the MINI YAY! might have a little sleep lol

Yeah stuck to around 70ish most of the way. Thankfully, all the calls were fairly straight forward, One site I was there for 20 mins, another was a collection of a machine we had bought, and the other was about 45 mins :)

Yeah, just posted a new thread :) its a 56 cooper, with chilli pack, lightning blue with blue part leather seats and blue bits on the dash. Loving it!!
