Sorry to hear that Crombers. I had Chickenpox a few years back which went everywhere... Never trust a chicken.

Did you know Shingles comes from the Latin 'Cingulus' or 'Girdle'? 'Cos you get it round the middle. So can we expect the stockings and suspenders next? I'm away to throw up.

I got the pocks when I was 24 OMG turned in to Shingles OMG OMG OMG Verrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy Painful right from my back and around my side. You will find (Once they have cleared up which can take some time) that you will get bothered from the pain even though you do not have shingles anymore well I did and can still do. I had no idea they were contagious but then mine were only on my body where do you have them.

anyway, back on fight thread, who thinks the sending in of 3000 british troops into helmand province (to join another 12000 troops) is the wrong thing to do?

I think it is a complete waste of life, not even looking at the huge amount of taxpayers money wasted on someone elses war......

Far too serious for this thread Craig.

You want to talk about wasted lives and money what about the 60,000 packed into Parkhead each week?

Ma girlfriends gran is just over the shingles a couple of months ago, it infected her head and right eye and although all is good now, for a time there was a question whether her vision would be permanently damaged....!!!

Anyway get well and when your back on the road you can drive about all day with your fog lights blazing; it looks really cool and makes other drivers think that you’re the man.....

Crombers, you should know which team I support it used to feature on my MX5 signature. You actually commented on it at the time, but I guess at your age the mind is starting to go.

BTW, Yorkshire? Not even close.
