Pot007 Edinburgh Bypass

Spotted Stewart last night in his newly acquired Clubman going along the city bypass roadworks at about 21.30 last night.

I was damn cold wondering about the bypass looking for markings on the road so that I could start my boys working.

Aye, those so called 'workers' on the bypass.....what were they doing when I went past......nowt!

Making me do 30mph when I had a nice warm home to go to (although I don't get double time there!!)

Young Campbell sat in the back of the Mini.......6"5 and still had leg room! Impressive

Double time for overtime. Overtime paid per hour, work slowly = more pennies to buy MINI bits.

I might be going back out on the bypass again on Sat night. Job isnt finished yet. Its not my project but I am having to help out as the guy that is supervising it has all ready done about 60 hours this week.

Is that your chaps that are laying the new surface down? bit by bit?

They are doing patches on the bypass.
The whole bypass doesnt need resurfaced so we have to take care of the bad bits. It would cost millions to do the whole thing.
