After mentioning 1966 and the rugby world cup within 2 minutes of each other:mad: and then with 5 mins to go Bobby Robson and co going on about how the French Coach would be reminded of this 1-0 defeat in every tunnel next season when he's manager of Spurs, and the ribbing that Henry, Thiery and co would get from their Arsenal teamates:mad::disapprove::dead:

And then up pops Zindane from outside the 18yd box in injury time:D and then James commits a professional foul on Henry which should have seen him sent off! and what d'ya know it's 2-1!:) and bobby robson had nothing to say but "eh....eh...eh!"

Again - sorry all you English NMS'ers but your commentators are the reason for this!

I would like to support the English in sporting events, we are all British after all, but the commentators are always so full sh*t you end up supporting anyone who is playing England! :clown:

I agree! I like the England team. I think they're a decent bunch of blokes and would like to see them do well but the dross coming from the commentators, including Des Lemon at half time "You know what they'll say if we win this. They'll say we're going to win the whole thing"
and also the "the lads have done it" from Bobby Robson and the smug "I think we can last just two more minutes" comment. Bam, bing, 2-1. Feel sorry for the team but "Gerrit right roond ye" to the commentators.

Also, to all English NMS'ers...didn't your rugby team get humped at the weekend as well? :D:clown::p:)

Was on the Lakes run yesterday and you should have seen the amount of St Georges flags hanging from cars. But I showed them all with my wee Lion Rampant aerial flag and nms sticker :blackeye:.

It was the guy last night in the build up to the Sweden game that really got me, and I quote - " last night it was the battle of the heavyweights, tonight we have a contest between two l.....er..middleweights...." Did anyone catch the sky sports review after the match, they showed an English hooliganfan, who obviously bought a buckshee ticket for the french end, immediately after ZZ scored the penalty :D
