Scottish MINI Cooper Cup away days

Just had a look at the SMRC dates for the Cooper Cup racing....

They have 2 away days, one to Oulton (31st July) and one to Croft (25th/26th Sept).

Thinking of going to one of them, but wondered if there would be any interest from others? I would prob go down and back in a day to keep the cost down (both are about 3 hrs drive from Stirling):yes nod:

Our Oulton Round is a bank holiday monday race in May!

Friday the 28th, full day test (with option for passenger runs in the afternoon if i'm happy with the car / setup)
Saturday - Qualifying and race 1
Saturday night - BBQ and banter at the circuit
Sunday - Mini Challenge invades Alton Towers for the day ( tradition )
Monday - Race 2 and 3 :)

not sure how easy it will be to get tickets but I managed to get hamish and his dad tickets for Croft no bother

As for the drive, yes I agree, buy my sis (who I try to visit at least twice a year) lives 10 miles north of the north side of the M25, so it gives me a very valid excuse to spend a few days with the family & catch some entertainment as well :thumbs up:
