need new tyres

hey i'am gonna be needing a set of new front tyres soon for my 17s and i've narrrowed it down to either 205 40 17 michelin 205 40 17 yokohama paradas or 215 40 17 goodyear eagle f1's but i can't decide what would be best so i'am lookin for ur opinions

Have a wee look back in the older threads there was a big tyre discussion quite recently loads of good info in it.

If you are still running stock ride hide I would stick to 205 45 or 215 40. Purely has it will increase the wheelgap by a huge amount. There is also no need for the 205 40 at stock height as it won't scrub on those other sizes either

my 17s have 205 40's on them atm so didn't really wana have 2 dif size tyres on but i'am getting 2 215 40 eagle f1's for about 80 quid each or 112 quid each for the michelins.would bigger tyres affect the acceleration and fuel consumption

hi craig yea they are advertised on tyre traders.com for £84.37 each this is for the w rated ones there is also y rated ones for £90ish think i may just go for these just worried it may look silly with dif size tyres on the front and rear
