Impressive the way it gets the power down. My mate had this in the pic, it was a V12 modded and in its day would beat anything from the lights, think we had it down to 4-5 seconds 0-60. it blasted Renult Turbo 2, lotus Carltons, Cosworths, pug 19 gti’s and golf GTi’s and I’m talking the faster MkI. Even quicker with the Cab off it.

Only thing was it was puffed out at 70MPh and mid seventies that was its top speed. He used to do hill climbs in it. The power and noise was silly off it. This is the kind of thing I grew up with, we also had a stripped down race prepaired Escort Mexico that was fast as well.
