Seeing as we are now into 2010, it got me thinking about what was the highlight/s of the year for myself in '09' and the TOP 4 that came to mind were (in this order)

1. Finally getting myself another motorcycle :D

2. Going on the BEST road trip of my life on my motorcycle to Barcelona to watch the Catalunya MOTO GP live and to get to see these AWESOME riders doing there stuff :thumbs up:

3. Having a wee shot of the boss' car on one of the recent NMS runs, and from that onwards I have had a near permanent grin on my face including some possible drooling/slavering everytime I think about it... :p

4. My last second decision of just jumping out of bed in early hours one day getting ready and hitting the road, heading for SILVERSTONE for the gates opening for the 50th MINI birthday party and I am so glad that I did it :yes nod:

There might be more but I cant really think of them right now!! lol.

So what was everyone else best memories of '09'?

Has to be the Twilight Run for me.

The worry leading up to it with the terrible weather forecast which turned out to be wrong. The fantastic scenery and weather, but most of all the people who came along and made it probably the most rewarding run I've organised.

well 2009 was a bit sh!te in the Davies household however the highlights for me would be..

Buying a BEP JCW S with only 16,000 miles on the clock.
my mum getting her "aircast" off her foot in dec after a year of having it on
both of us still having a job in volitile financial situation..

All I would say is that 2010 must be better, as 2009 couldn't really have been much worse.

I enjoyed all the Mini Runs from the Picnic through to the Borders. The Twilight Run was a bit special with the Scenery, the Weather, the great roads with all the Mini's and the people.

The fantastic drive into Oban with all the cars.

Enjoyed the Classic speed festival at knockhill with everyone.

Driving my own Mini adventure through the Yorkshire Dales and going over the Butter Tubs pass.

For me it would be...

Loosing 2 stone in weight:thumbs up:. OK, I've since put a bit back on:blush:, but plans are afoot to drop it again.:thumbs up:

Being asked to speak at an industry conference in London. Nervous as hell, but it was a thrill ride. Speaking again in London in February on the subject of 3D.:thumbs up::thumbs up:

Like Craig, I'm eternally grateful to still be in gainful employment, providing food on our table, a roof over our heads and a couple of MINI's on our drive.:thumbs up:

Our two Florida holidays were a blast.:thumbs up:

There's another thing, but it's staying off the forum.:p:moonie:

2009 was hard for so many people, here's hoping 2010 will be a better one.
My highlights.

1. Managing to over take Baz on the twilight run.
2. Like Paul and crombers have stated the Twilight run was for me and most if not everyone else Awsome. (utterly gutted not being able to attend this year.)
3. Purchasing my R56 S was amazing loving the Turbo.
4. Moving to Arran, briefly until I got here and found out what it was really like, a tad naive.
5. Going on all the other runs which were all amazing.
6. Finding out Del had got a clubman S in Lazer Blue.
7. Getting to know better all the fine NMS and NM folks. Especially those I had the pleasure of meeting in person,(you too crombers)
