Shiny new laptop

Got myself a nice shiny new laptop in the Currys sale today.

Not the biggest spec in the world, but does everything I need it to do (surfing) and it does it blisteringly fast. Web site says it "was" £599. Aye, mebbie for about 10 mins to keep them on the right side of the law, but at £399 it's a cracking buy anyway.

I was in there looking at the 60" TV's....then gave myself a slap but they do look fantastic. There has been a nice drop in price off 32"-42" screens.

30 days is the law haha ... it was actually £549 usually so still good saving.... we had 130 of them yesterday and theres not many left now

Has to be that price in a certain percentage of the groups stores for 30 days. We are the same price nationwide though apart from London.

When i worked for Homebase they were quite sneaky with "priced at such and such for 30 days in 60 Homebase Stores" as that has to be stated on the Point of Sale

Has anyone seen any better deals than this one? Just been told by the repair shop that my laptop is pumped and I pretty much need to buy a new one.
Not really wanting to spend anymore than £400.
