Picked up my new Mini today and very pleased with it :D
Helen has christened him "Zippy"

Drives great on Bridgespoke wheels with normal tyres (Runflats are now an option)
I added front fogs & a fuel computer, also got air-con as it is now standard
But the best extra I added was an HK stereo - superb sounding

Weather was rubbish here today but grabbed a couple of quick pics when the rain went off for a while

Lovely.

What do you get to help with puctures instead of runflats? I had a spare wheel with my red/black Cooper but that is not an option with the S.

Back to the compresser and gunk I'm afraid as a spare wheel is not an option on the S.
However I will be adding a full size spare to my rear seat (as I did with my first BMW Cooper)

No, that was a guy in the Mini clan with a red / black Cooper.
Helen likes to name my minis- New minis have been "Stu", "Bob", "Archie" and now "Zippy" :D
My classic is "Tig" because he bounces like Tigger :p

Nice one Duncan! Finally came over to the 'Dark Side' of Forced Induction eh?
May the Force be with you! What do you think of the Torque in the Turbo motor? Quite impressive isn't it? Many happy miles to you and Helen.

Still running it in so not really played with the power yet ;)
But you can feel the extra torque - pulls in 6th like the Cooper did in 4th :D
