Door Electrics

Well recently i think my car is out to eat up my bank balance.
The door electrics have started playing up. Both the drivers door and passengers door won't open with the the plip key but they will lock. so at the moment i am forced to open the doors using the manual method of the lock on the drivers door.
Has anyone else had this problem and what could the fix be?

Possible cause may be the BC1 module, a fault on earlier cars resulted amongst other things, faulty door unlocking etc

this happened on my Cooper too..but i couldnt even lock the car either..managed to get one key reprogrammed, but it happened again..I think a replacement key is needed from what I was told about mine..a mate of mine works at HF MINI in giffnock, just never got round to doing it
