Gritters are Out!!!!!

Well thats it, the days of keeping the car clean and shiny are over until the Spring..

Renfrewshire is getting a fair covering of grit and salt tonight... First i have seen of the Winter.. :ragin::ragin:

Just drove past one on the dual carriageway as I went out for a burn after getting fuel! Splattered the whole front end as you'd expect.

We put a 20gram (thats a fair amount) salt over our whole south east network 2 nights ago. First big run this year for the guys.

I used to work function bar's just outside of Aberdeen, and you do see a lot of funny things at that time of the morning.

On the other hand, you do annoyingly come across a lot of gritters:argh:

i seen one coming out the industrial estate in cupar on thur or fri, and there was also one out in perth last night too
i cant keep my car clean with the roads i take to work, its all the mud from the tractors comin out the fields! lol
