Ok, I know on some Minis (possibly the newer ones) you can toggle the display between Average MPG and Temperature. I also seem to remember something about being able to display 1 or the other on older minis (R53) anyone know if this is possible? Would like to see the MPG instead of the temperature. I know how cold it is by my teeth chattering :D

What plate is yours? Think you can get it added.

To have:

Speed
Current Fuel Consumption
Average Fuel Cinsumption
Temp
Average Speed

That what you are meaning? on the rev counter.
You tried the button on the indicator

Cheers Gents...

There's no button on the indicator lever, it's a '53 plate Cooper S.

Not sure i'm that bothered at £90+fitting, that's almost another Tank of Fuel at the moment :D

I haven't seen many cars without it. Think it came with most of the packs

It was an optional extra in the early days

It was listed as an option on the early cars but it was unavailable until about 6 months after the first cars hit the streets, I retro fitted it when it became available but it had to be programed at the dealers.

I then loaded a how to on Mini2 and someone else did it using a simple push button switch (again it had to be programed):thumbs up:
