Hi All

Is the mini any good in snow - naturally this comes down to the quality and state of the tyres/tread. I'm running the standard 175's,15in Pirelli P3000s, but have read that some owners swap to winter tyres during the snowy season. Are the Pirellis up to the job or would winter tyres (and which brand) be a noticeably better bet?

Is the MINI good in snow? well I have never had any problem, but then again have only had the odd day of snow.. ;)

Now winter tyres is a whole new story... I put on winter wheels every year (to keep my 18"s nice and shiny and away from the salt.. ;)) but normally had ordinary tyres on them. As of about a week ago, I put on winter tyres (Nokian WRG2's) and tbh not had a chance to work out how they are in the cold as it has been very mild, but the reviews are very good... I have noticed that my steering is lighter and the car is lively in the corners.. :D
