Hello,

Ok so i've been looking at replacing my wheels and came to a crossroads as such.

I've finally selected a wheel i like ( i think!!!) and would like your opinions on the two available options, silver or black.

I don't like the whole black alloy thing in general, but i am really drawn to a black wheel with a silver rim.

So here are my options, tell me what you think!!

Car as it is....

I prefer your Bullet wheels to them mate if im honest. Not really into the budget wheels.

If you can i'd stretch the budget a little bit more and grab some OZ's/Speedlines/BBS etc. Think Mini are doing 4x Team dynamics in 17" for £400

Funny a few folk, including the wife have already said that they prefer the Bullet's - I guess it's just down to personal choice.

I don't know if i would say they are budget wheels, £465 - without tyres!! Certainly not the most expensive, but middle of the road i guess.

The OZ Superturismos have always been a favorite of mine, however you do see a few minis with them, and i really do like to be different.

Please excuse my arrogance, I never checked the price. Just remember seeing a set from the same brand advertised a while back in 19" diameter for £600

Ryan,

Love those rims, i had actually shortlisted a very similar set, Dezent Motions - cheap - £304 wheels only.

Don't know if i'd of went for the Dezent - but love the style and look!!

No worries, to be honest i'd never heard of the Finichi brand before, and not being one of the mainstream manufacturers i am familiar with, without knowing the price, i would of thought the same!!!

If I was gonna do it all again i'd keep the Bullets for winter use (as I do with my 'S' spokes) & splash the cash on a set of BBS's or R90's for the fairer weather :thumbs up:

Keeping it fairly OEM looking = WIN

BBS or other OEM rims, R99 might look sweet on it, they float around every so often for around £500

Personally I only buy used. And since winter is quickly approaching I wouldn't be putting nice new alloys on till around march. My Steelies will soon be on

IMO avoid budget rims like the plague. You'll only end up paying to fix wheels that aren't as strong or well finished.

Rota, OZ, Speedline or Team Dynamics if you want lightweight, aggressive wheels.

i prefer the the bullets too i'm afraid

i think 2 tone wheels look smaller than single colour wheels
They look good in the pictures but then not so good once fitted IMO

i have 18" BBS CHs on my golf and this was defo the case when they were black with silver rim
I got them done in all black and they now look better and bigger and meaner

Your not half right there! Some of those Mini's are sweeeeeeet!

Good choice on keeping the Bullets, i love stock mini alloys, but there are some cars on here that can tempt me otherwise!!!
