Eastern BMW!!

Hi guys,

Just a wee update to Colin's near death experience in the M3 - see thread below

We took my mini into Eastern yesterday for them to take a look. They confirmed what we already knew, that the PSP was goosed. They said they would contact Mini Uk to see if they would help with the repair costs and due to the low mileage etc they thought we had a good case.

They've just phoned me to say that Mini Uk will pay 100% of the cost of the part and 50% of the labour. Eastern will deduct a further 15% of the labour leaving us with around £50 to pay. I'm delighted!! :D Considering Mini Uk didn't want to know when we contacted them twice over the past month!! A

Eastern have restored our faith in BMW ;) The mini problem had nothing at all to do with what happened to Colins car, but as a goodwill guesture said they would take a look at it for us. I'm well cheesed :D

Yeah I'm delighted!

Considering the car's never been in there workshop before, and all previous work/servicing etc was done through another BMW dealership I can't express my gratitude to them enough :D

My mini went into Eastern this morning to have the new Power steering pump fitted :D

Got a lovely courtesy car for the day ..................... a week old Cooper Cab. with only 140 miles on the clock :D

Just been to pick my own car up, cost a total of £27.00 plus vat :hand: I was a bit embarrassed by it all tbh..... they even gave my mini a full valet :clap:

Its so nice to a have it back without that awful whinning noise :)

Craig don't get too excited, Colin got a clubby with Motability stickers all over it when he put the M3 in :lol: My advice is wear a skirt, I also got a 3 week old Atlantic Blue Bmw 320d Se (Coupe) last time I put the mini into Menzies for a service :D

I just put our blue MINI into Vardy for a rattle problem to be fixed. Got a 116i. Wouldn't pull skin off of custard.:frown:

Last time my car was in Eastern, I got a z4!

Didn't really like it TBH (old model).

Vardy offered me an X3, told them no thanks and took an Astra instead.;)

I always manage a decent courtesy car when at Eastern. Worst was a 118i cabrio, it was soo slow but in the past I have had

Awwwww Jade did you REALLY have to go and say that!! I just about sprayed a mouth full of coffee all over my keyboard then almost choked on it coz trying not spray it everywhere.... :hand:
