I tried searching for this but haven't found anything so far. If this has been addressed before please just point me to the right thread.
I've noticed a rattle coming from the underside of the steering column. When I apply a little pressure it disappears. Is this a fairly common problem?
It became really noticeable on our recent road trip to the west coast. My wifes solution was to turn the music up. But I think that was to drown out my moaning more than anything... :confused::D
If it is a common problem, are there any quick fixes?
I'm thinking of putting it in to the garage for them to sort, but I'm a little reluctant as in my experience whenever you put a car in to sort rattles they 'can't hear it'.
The car's only got 1500 miles on it so I'm a little miffed that the interior doesn't seem to be up to the standard I was expecting. My wifes corsa makes less noise at the moment and thats got 27000 miles on it...
