iphone help needed........

Hi, just got my iphone couple of hours ago, registered it and synced all the songs from my itunes i wanted on it no problem.
All my numbers from my previous phone are copied onto my Sim but when i put it in the iphone, no contacts come up!!!!! Plus, is there anyway i can get the photos from my old phone onto the iphone???
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Plus any other tips to help this gadget newbie to the complicated iphone!!!

Read the book (cos |I cant remember) there is a function to transfer from sim to phone as the ipone stores them on the phone only;)

pics off your old phone you will need to put on to your computer then transfer them on to the i phone

Got my contacts sorted, now how do i set my ringtone to one of my songs/music??

iphone doesnt let you choose your music to use as a ringtone you have to use a program called iringer.

download the free version and it will convert any music to a ringtone file.
the free version only gives you 30 seconds, but that for me is more than enough.
