See how strong the MINI is though.
I know that has a cage in it but they really are strong wee cars, believe me I would know.
Mine went through a tree and telegraph pole before rolling over and the door could still be opened and closed.

love the quick reactions of the marshalls.

"Finish your tea lads, got some car to clear up... hold on it's not going anywhere take your time"

I can hear the driver back at the pits now...

"I out braked myself and ran a little wide, I might have just brushed the barrier a little, it should not take you long to fix" :ragin:

That was a big hit! Brake failure sucks, those few hundreths of a second while your brain works out why you aren't slowing down while your right foot sinks to the floot-well with no resistance seems like an enternity.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Fortunatley for me the 2 times it has happended there have been some nice gravel traps on hand to catch me.

I seen a similar thing happen at knockhill where the R32 actually flipped over the barrier at the hairpin

I heard one of the kids next to me shout out "We only just finished that car on friday!"
