I've just had a wee peek at your mini, very nice too I love the white wheels they really suit it. I'll keep a look out for you, there's a lot of mini's out and about in Armadale so give me a wee flash so I know its you ;)

Well coming into Armadale, the red Astra just came shooting across the road and right into me head on!!!!!:argh:
When i got out the car, the female driver started walking away and crying, saying it wasnt her car, no Insurance etc etc!!! I COULD SMELL THE ALCOHOL YARDS AWAY FROM HER!!!!!!:argh: Absolutely steaming!!!!! :ragin:
I was on the phone to the Police the whole time as i followed her around Armadale til she eventually ended up at her boyfriends house 20mins later where the Police arrested her!!!!!
Total f***ing nightmare, i absolutely love that wee car!!! Luckily my Father in law is a Accident Repair Specialist in Bathgate, he came and collected the Mini (the Police took away her Astra), he had a quick look and said that its def reparable, theyre strong as hell wee cars!!!! Just waiting now to phone Direct Line.
I'll keep you updated!!!!

I saw the Blue Flashing lights, and as I approched knew it had been an accident. I couldn't believe it when I saw the Reg. :(

You were standing on the pavement talking to a police officer when I passed. I went to Tesco, but you the police and both cars were still there when I came back. They seemed to take a while to move the cars.

Was she local btw?? I dont know how you managed not to deck her!!! female or not!!!!

I was there for ages!!! The Officer was impressed with my Tattoos though!!!! :lol: Its all he spoke about!!!
Accident happened at about 18.55 and i got home at 21.45!!!!:frown:
I'm proper gutted!!!! :sad::sad: Off all the cars on the road there last night, it just had to be mine :argh:
When i think about it though, if my car wasnt there, she would have mounted the pavement and god knows what could have happened then!!!

I was a bit puzzled as to why they didn't push the Astra off the road to get the traffic flowing sooner? The female officer directing the traffic looked well pissed off!

True what you say, it was bad enough but could have been much worse if your car hadn't acted as a barrier to stop it mounting the pavement!

What bodyshop is it away too, any idea how long it will be till you get it back?

Its away to Protek in Bathgate.
No idea how long it'll be away for, i'll ask the Q on Tuesday or something, after he has had the chance to get it checked. Its looking very very sad at the moment!! Hopefully not too long as i'm Corsa 1.2 bound til i get it back!!!! :lol:

The female Officer was an amzing help last night, really knew her stuff. The male officer was very new to the Job i think but again, very very helpful!!

Were you in the Mini when you went past??

Nah, not heard anything else yet?? While i was talking to the Female Officer, it came over the radio that she had failed the Breath test and was therefore arrested :D
2 witnesses also stopped, including a Lady in a Gold Focus, claiming that the drunk had ran into her also, just previous to running into me :ragin:

Gonna leave the white Vipers of the new bonnet and go with something different :cool:

lol!!!! Yeah, the car was immaculate because i spent about 7hrs cleaning it the weekend before, so it was spotless!!! :cool:
You'll see it again soon, it'll be back looking better than ever!!

Undecided about the Vipers just now?? Before the smash, i had white ones, but they werent in the middle of the bonnet. I have a few ideas, like 2 thick white vipers up the middle, with maybe thin Orange outlines, or 1 very thick black viper with orange outlines?? If i go for the black, then i'd do it over the roof and the rear too, aswell as the bonnet obviously, and maybe get the 3 'S' badges vynled orange. If i go for the white then i'd just put them on the bonnet again.
Another thought is that if i just go for 2 thick Vipers up middle of the bonnet, i was maybe thinking about getting the front A panels vynl white???
It prob all sounds kinda minging but i think it'll work!!! :D
I wish i could find the pic of the Mini i seen with the black and orange stripes but cant find it anywhere!!!! :argh:
