Got this through today. If anyone can help th eguy out, I'm sure he'll be very grateful. Seems genuine enough....

Dear Sir or Madam,
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is James, I am a PhD student at De Montfort University - United Kingdom (www.dmu.ac.uk <http://www.dmu.ac.uk> ). Currently, I am doing a research on Mini car community. I found your e-mail from the New MINI Scotland website, and I believe you are also one of the Mini car fans.

Therefore, I wonder if you could help by answering my questionnaire. I do understand most of the people do not like to complete questionnaire, and therefore this questionnaire is design in a very informal way. You are free to ignore any questions you don't feel like to answer or write as much as you wish. Please kindly reply my email after you have completed the following questionnaire.

Last but not least, my sincere thanks for your time and your willingness in sharing those Mini experiences with me.
With regards,
KH Beh (James)

p/s: Please find the questionnaire on the bottom of the page.

Due to spotting a recent scam along similar lines - another Nigerian one! - where they ask for your contact details etc, time to do some checking up. he seems genuine enough, and the Uni is a real one ;)
So long as he knows he's dealing with MINI owners here, not Mini owners in general... ;)
