Booked flights today for the motor show in Frankfurt, has anyone been before and can recommend hotels? Or even other attractions to see?

Looking forward to the Mini stand :cool:

Cool. The show should be great. Take plenty pics.

I've been to Frankfurt airport, which can have VERY tight security. I did not stay there but stayed in a pretty little place called Ettlingen which was probably about 100 miles away as it was 30 minutes away in a German taxi!

I would look for a cheapish chain type hotel, like Ibis, if you are just looking for somewhere to crash.

aye Frankfurt Airport is HUGE..!! nearly every second plane is a Jumbo :yes nod:

I fly through Frankfurt on the way home and it's effortless and one of the easiest airports to get through, never missed a connection and even had 20 mins between flights all no problem.

Never been into the city though, so, soz, can't advise where to stay or what to see

Hi. When is it? I'm going to Frankfurt on the 24th Sept for a weekend. Staying at the Bristol Hotel! :thumbs up: Never been before, but got flights for £3.96 for the both of us! BARGAIN.:D

yeh we got them for £4.99 haha :thumbs up:

Goin from 17th, think the show runs for week or so :confused:

feck me at £4 flights we should all go.......
