we were down in the Borders on our hols last week and the weather wasn't the best (to say the least) and the wildlife and locals tried to kill us on a number of occasions :argh: (plus we were in the middle of nowhere )

here are some pics of where we are staying this week and it's AMAZING :thumbs up:

The view from the balcony over the Caledonian Canal to Ben Nevis in the background..

The most important picture is missing….The parking spot? Is it a building site?

What’s the name of the place, I’m going to North Yorkshire for a week but fancy a week or a few days up north, take my mum for a short break if they do a few nights...... Great spot Oban to the south, Mallaig to the west and Loch Ness north.

it's not a building site. it is a gravel drive in and out and there is parking for each lodge. ;)

Website HERE (http://www.lochaberlodges.com) You will prob speak to Frank - very nice chap and extremely helpful. :yes nod:

yeah, it's very much in it's infancy.... there is a lot of trees planted which will take some time. Plus we also looked at the new plots that are for sale.. They have even more stunning views.. :yes nod:

Thats simply stunning, I see form the availability its more or less booked solid including over the Christmas period. Imagine getting away from say Glasgow in the rush up to Christmas to that place…Everyone else in Glasgow running around tired and stressed and you could be up there with the place stocked with food and drink and just stay in and watch the world outside change…:thumbs up:

oh and cheers for the link to Craig.
