Evening,
All going well i should be the proud owner of a Cooper S with works upgrades as of sat..
I'm coming from a Clio R27 which i've ran for the past two years, and before that i had a Clio 182...the R27 was getting a bit too hardcore for everyday as i'm doing a fair bit more miles for work.
I'm just outside Glasgow, shall post a few pics up when i get the car.
Great forum too.
Best regards,
Alan.

Again thanks for the warm welcome.
I'm going along to the dealer this afternoon to finalize everything, reg documents etc.
Should be picking it up on sat morning, unfortunately i won't be driving it properly until sunday as my business partner has a wedding on sat afternoon so i can only have a few hours off on sat morning to pick the car up.
Thanks again,
Alan.

Welcome mate. Very nice car history, Renault sports are the biz:thumbs up:
Think you will like the mini though, especially if you head for 270+bhp:D

what are you mad. I think 200 ish bhp is enough in the mini's. I read topgear last month and they said the same, intact they said 175 was enough.

Power wise, i think i'll be happy with the 210 to start with..if not a trip to Lohen for some choice upgrades, i've ordered a stubby aerial and i'll probably be ordering some Eibach or KW springs within the next few months.
