what do you clean your intercooler with ???

ok i took off my intercooler last week to fit my new injeters and there seemed to be a lot of oil in the ends of it so cleaned them out but did not know what to flush it with to get it all out of the cooler bit do i steem it ??? or use parafin i read somewhere on mini 2

Seal up one end, slosh in some fresh petrol, seal up the other end and shake.
Repeat until the petrol comes out looking clean.

You may also want to add tequila, grenadine & a slice of lime for flavour :D
